ANI reports that as per the FIR, the victim was approached by Salman’s manager while she was in London for work in August 2018. Later she met Salman at a coffee shop in Oshiwara Andheri, where he offered her an opportunity to perform in Bollywood Park, Dubai with him.

The victim further said that Salman tried to touch her inappropriately while dropping her home. When objected to his behaviour, Salman reasoned that such things are common in Bollywood. Later the victim received a call from Salman’s manager regarding the work, and she along with her dance group left for Dubai on August 20.

The victim also shared that while in Dubai, Salman alongwith his cousin brother allegedly again tried to touch her inappropriately and threatened her with dire consequence.  Apparently, Salman sent the victim and her dance group back to Mumbai after terminating her dance contract as she refused to give in to his demands.

Salman rose to fame after winning the reality show Dance Indian Dance season 1. He subsequently made his Bollywood debut with Remo D’souza’s ‘ABCD: Anybody Can Dance’.
