FIR Filed Against Orry And 7 Others For Allegedly Consuming Alcohol Near Vaishno Devi Temple; J&K Police Promise ‘Strict’ Action

Social media influencers Orhan Awatramani – better known as Bollywood’s BFF Orry, has found himself in legal trouble. As per reports coming in, the Jammu And Kashmir state police have filed an FIR against the social media personality and 7 of his friends for allegedly consuming alcohol near Vaishno Devi Temple – one of the holiest pilgrimage sites in Hinduism. FIR Filed Against Orry

As reported by news agency ANI on Monday, the J & K state police have filed an FIR against eight persons – including Orry, for allegedly consuming alcohol in a prohibited zone in Katra. Sharing the news on their social media, ANI reported, “As per police, FIR was registered against eight people, including socialite influencer Orhan Awatramani aka Orry, for allegedly consuming alcohol in a hotel located in Katra.”

As per a Times Now report, aside from Orhan, the FIR (No. 72/25) which has been lodged at the Katra Police Station also lists Anastasila Arzamaskina- a Russian national, Darshan Singh, Parth Raina, Ritick Singh, Rashi Dutta, Rakshita Bhogal and Shagun Kohli as the primary accused. They are being charged with violating the District Magistrate’s order and allegedly hurting religious sentiments. As per this reprot, The Cottage Suit area in Katra – where the group allegedly consumed alcohol, has strict rules against non-vegetarian food and intoxicants due to its proximity to the Vaishno Devi shrine.

A Reasi Police official told Times Now, “A special team, under the supervision of SP Katra, Dy SP Katra, and SHO Katra, was formed to investigate the matter. Notices will be sent to all accused individuals, including Orry, instructing them to join the probe. SSP Reasi has reiterated that anyone violating the law, especially by indulging in activities like alcohol or drug consumption at religious sites, will be dealt with strictly.”

Netizens Demand Ban

As the news of an FIR being filed again Orry for allegedly consuming alcohol near Vaishno Devi Temple spreads, netizens are taking to social media to slam the socialite. One angry netizen wrote, “HOLY SHRINE AREN’T PARTY ZONES!” Another added, “Bollywood’s Orry & friends drinking alcohol and asking for an egg at Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra, where even onion & garlic aren’t allowed!” A third simply demanded, “Ban him from KATRA.”
