Actress Ananya Raj – who is know for films such as Ghost, 7 Hours to Go and The Final Exit, is no more. The 27-year-old actress died on July 15. Her family took to her social media handle and released a statement confirming her death. In the note, they also shared few details about how she was over the last year. However, they refrained from revealing the specific medical cause behind her demise.

Ananya Raj’s Family Confirms Actress’ Death

On Sunday, Ananya Raj’s family took to her Instagram handle and shared a post confirming her demise. In it, they wrote, “This is Ananya’s family. With great pain, we have to announce that Ananya passed away in the wee hours of 15th July. She passed away peacefully in sleep. For over a year she was going through physical and mental mental discomfort. And she fought like a warrior to overcome them.”

Their post further read, “She was a strong spirited girl and lived like a Queen. Bachcha, your absence will be dearly felt. We urge all of you to pray for her soul. And In these trying times, We wish to maintain privacy and quietitude.”

Commenting on the sad and shocking news, one fan comments, “She is so beautiful, expressive, and a wonderful soul. This is shocking. May her soul rest in peace. God, pls take care of Ananya’s family.” Another wrote, “Rest in peace @ananyaraj.official.. This is shocking and heartbreaking.” While many fans offered their condolences, one user wondered, “She passed away in July and news are coming now in August strange”
