Bollywood actors Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt starrer ‘Gully Boy’ has been in the limelight for a while. Right from the posters to trailers to songs, the film has created a lot of buzz. Unfortunately, the censor board has not spared this family entertainer and demanded major cuts.

According to a report published in Latestly, one of the most significant kissing scene featuring Ranveer and Alia, has suffered at the last minute. However, the board feels that the much-talked-about kiss is too passionate to handle. The cuss words have also been euphemised to softer terms.

The censor board did not stop here as the mention of a popular whiskey brand has also been removed from the movie, despite them being one of the partners in the film. The censor board has also instructed makers to add a disclaimer in Devanagari. The film reportedly received its censor certificate on Friday. But, the last hour cuts are definitely going to irk viewers.

Take a look at the censor board’s report:

‘Gully Boy’ is produced by Excel Entertainment co-founders Riteish Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar. It is helmed by Zoya Akhtar. ‘Gully Boy’ would also see Kalki Koechlin and Vijay Raaz in a pivotal role. The film is loosely based on the lives of Mumbai’s underground rappers Vivian Fernandes aka Divine and Naved Shaikh aka Naezy.
