Love And War Teaser To Be Attached To Ramayana: Part 1?

A report in Mid-Day reveals that although the film’s teaser was initially scheduled to be unveiled on September 28—coinciding with Ranbir Kapoor’s birthday—the makers are now delaying the trailer. Instead, they plan to attach the teaser to Ramayana: Part 1, which features Ranbir in multiple avatars. The trailer is expected to be released around Diwali, with a different promotional asset being prepared for Kapoor’s birthday.

A source close to the project explained, “Plans to postpone the teaser came after the final schedule wrapped up only last week. Bhansali wants to give the teaser a theatrical launch, and Ramayana: Part 1 provides the perfect platform. Since Ranbir is the lead in both films, the teaser of Love and War can generate the impact the makers are aiming for.”

About Love & War

The film’s trailer is now slated for a late-December release, with fans expecting a teaser in November. Love and War was officially announced in January 2024 after facing multiple delays. And it is now scheduled for theatrical release on January 21, 2027.

This project marks the first collaboration between Ranbir Kapoor and Sanjay Leela Bhansali since Kapoor’s debut Saawariya in 2007. Vicky Kaushal has yet to work with Bhansali. Alia Bhatt previously collaborated with him in the 2022 film Gangubai Kathiawadi.
