Zoya Akhtar’s ‘Gully Boy’ chronicling the story of an underdog Murad not just showcased Ranveer Singh in a new avatar but also gave us Siddhant Chaturvedi to crush on. Siddhant played MC Sher in ‘Gully Boy’ and wowed everyone with his brilliant performance. It was difficult to digest the fact that this was Siddhant’s debut film as he was too good in it.

Now ever since the release of ‘Gully Boy’ everyone has been eagerly waiting for the announcement of Siddhant’s next project. And guess what? The cutie-pie’s next film is going to an action drama.

Opening about his next film, Siddhant told PTI, “I have two films in my hand. One is an action film, (where I will be) trained in taekwondo. Another one is a proper comedy film. I am doing a film with Excel. But it is not my next film. The film with them is huge. It is a lead role.” 

The actor refused to comment on the reports of being signed by Yash Raj Films. Commenting on reports of Zoya making a sequel of ‘Gully Boy’, the actor shared, “Zoya is interested in making ‘Gully Boy’ (sequel), maybe something on the Delhi chapter. There is a huge pop scene in Delhi as well so she may do a part two.” 

Chaturvedi has received a token of appreciation for his performance in ‘Gully Boy’ from none other than legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan. Touched by the veteran actor’s gesture had said that he has received the biggest award of his life. Recently Siddhant said that he is taking time to select the right script as he is yet to prove himself.
