Vishal Chaturvedi revealed during an interaction at a multiplex in Agra that work on the second installment has already begun. The filmmaker stated that the upcoming sequel will delve deeper into the life of Neem Karoli Baba, focusing on his birthplace in Firozabad, and cover significant locations like Agra and Mathura that are integral to his spiritual journey. This sequel was part of the original vision, as the project was initially planned as a trilogy, inspired by Vishal’s book Divine Detour.

The sequel is expected to explore important chapters from Neem Karoli Baba’s life, including his early years and spiritual experiences. The first film, Hanuman Ansh, focused on stories of divine experiences and teachings associated with Neem Karoli Baba, portrayed by Shobhinaw Satyaa. The upcoming part aims to expand on these narratives, shedding light on his origins and the spiritual legacy he left behind.

Hanuman Ansh Box Office

Hanuman Ansh had a modest start, earning only Rs 10 lakh initially and Rs 1.40 crore in the first two weeks. However, positive word of mouth boosted its popularity, leading to a significant surge in collections. Notably, it achieved a peak single-day collection of Rs 12.75 crore on day 24 and surpassed Toxic with an Rs 8.50 crore day on day 26. Currently, the film has amassed approximately Rs 54.74 crore net domestically, proving its strong audience appeal despite its small budget.

Madhur Bhandarkar praised Hanuman Ansh as “pure cinematic magic,” highlighting its lesson that conviction and storytelling beat big-budget films. He commended director Vishal Chaturvedi’s honest direction and Shobhinav Satyaa’s natural portrayal of Neem Karoli Baba. Kangana Ranaut called it “a satsang,” urging viewers to skip therapy and watch it. The film’s success proves heartfelt storytelling can triumph over commercial excess.
