Hema Malini wants to make a comeback to films, Esha Deol reveals what’s holding her back

Hema Malini is one of the most loved actresses in the industry. Over the years, she has starred in films like Sholay, Seeta Aur Geeta, Dream Girl, Kranti, Andhaa Kanoon, Satta Pe Satta, and Naseeb among others. She was last seen in Shimla Mirchi. Post that, she has been missing from the big screen. Well now, after five years, she wants to make a comeback in films. In a recent interview, Esha Deol has revealed that her mother has been looking at some good scripts and roles.

Hema Malini wants to make a comeback

While speaking to News18, Esha Deol revealed that she has been pushing her mother Hema Malini to make a comeback. The actress said, “I’ve been doing it forever! In fact, she too want to do films again!”

Esha further added, “She’s looking at some good roles and scripts. She’s the kind of person who says that only if something very good comes her way will she step out and go back in front of the camera. If anyone has something good for my mom, they should shoot her a call.”

In the same interview, Esha also opened up about her father Dharmendra. The veteran actor recently delivered a terrific performance in Karan Johar’s Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani. He played Ranveer Singh’s grandfather in RARKPK. Esha shared that her father took everyone’s input before he started shooting for RARKPK. She further added that whenever he starts shooting for a project, he makes sure to show his family members pictures from his look test. How sweet is that!

Talking about Esha, her short film ‘Ek Duaa’ got a special mention in the category of non-feature films at the 69^th National Film Awards. On the other hand, Esha recently gave us a tour of her beautiful house. While giving a tour, she spoke about Sunny Deol starrer Gadar 2, mother Hema Malini and a lot more.
