Normally, makers unveil the film’s trailer to hype the emotions being conveyed in the songs, but the makers of Ananya Panday and Lakshya-led Chand Mera Dil are following a different path. They’ve made the masses fall in love with the upcoming romantic drama by releasing just three songs.

Why Chand Mera Dil Music Album Is A Hit Already

Normally, ahead of a film releasing in Bollywood, the makers unveil a teaser to give a hint at the story followed by a song, the trailer and then the rest of the music album. However, Chand Mera Dil has gone the unconventional route and released three songs already – the title track, Aitbaar & Khasiyat, and have still managed to keep the tension of what’s to unfold under wrap.

With it’s title song – composed by Sachin-Jigar, sung by Faheem Abdullah & penned by Amitabh Bhattacharya, the makers instantly transported audiences to the golden era of Bollywood music and storytelling. The melody offered a soft yet intense vibe and made the audience fall in love with the lead characters. In fact, it’s already charting on Spotify.

Days after making us feel and fall in love, the makers unveiled the film’s second track – Aitbaar, and made its listeners feel a heartbreak unlike any we’ve seen in recent time. The track – once again featuring the soulful vocals of Faheem Abdullah, overflows with emotions that are clearly of distance forming is a relationship due to conflicting choices or communication gaps. This track has made a place for itself as a new heartbreak favourite.

Just yesterday, the makers released Khasiyat, a track that’s sweet, innocent and filled with budding love – something that’s been missing in Bollywood for some time now. This feel-good melody, while still raking in the views and going viral on social platforms, has the potential to be played on loop and even become part of someone’s proposal.

A Hit Music Album?

With all three song emoting different feeling and successfully managing to convey them, the music of Chand Mera Dil is emerging as the music album of the season. What’s to be noted is that the music has managed to capture the attention of the audience (and convert them into fans awaiting the film’s release) even before they can tease the film’s story or release the trailer.
