Dhoom director Sanjay Gadhvi passed away on November 19 at the age of 56. Though the actual reason has not been revealed, it is said he might have suffered a heart attack. Now,

Hrithik Roshan who has also worked with him in Dhoom 2 wrote, “Deeply saddened by the loss of my dear friend Sanjay Gadhvi. Forever grateful for the moments we shared. He was instrumental in bringing out the Aryan in me. Couldn’t have done it without him. Rest in peace my friend. You will be missed.”

John Abraham shared a note for his Dhoom director as he wrote, “Remember the times I spent with you on the film closest to my heart #Dhoom. May the angels always ride with you. Rest in peace Sanjay Gadhvi.”

Esha Deol who was being directed by Sanjay in Dhoom shared an eulogy. She said, “Shocked! Can’t believe you are gone. You were one of the most fun vibrant & absolutely super cool directors I have ever worked with… the times we all spent together filming DHOOM as one big family. So full of energy you were .. thank you for whatever you have done for me. Always have love in my heart for you my brother my friend.. can’t believe I’m saying this …. rest in peace. DHOOM DHOOM.”

Other Bollywood stars pay homage to the director

Farhan Akhtar penned an emotional eulogy for the director. He wrote, “RIP Sanjay. Deepest condolences to the family. Sad sad day.”

Ameesha Patel shared a note saying, “Woken up to the saddest news today! Sanjay, you were such a good friend. I will never forget those endless chats on my office terrace and your creative genius. I missed working with you on 2 films and yet we became such good friends.

Sikander Kher wrote, “Sanjay Gadhvi… too soon brother… may you be at peace.”

Rohit Roy wrote a note for him expressing his sadness. He wrote, “Can’t believe he’s gone. The chief associate of my very first film Jazbaat. The guys who held my hand when I took my first step in the industry. Dhoom came much later but he was always the showman. Gadhvi you never kept the promise of directing me.

The Kaabil actor even shared a picture of the director.
