The India vs Australia ICC Cricket World Cup final match took place at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on 19th November. It was indeed a heartbreaking moment for Indians as team India lost the match to Australia by 6 wickets. Despite the loss, we can’t deny the fact that the team played exceptionally well and their efforts were palpable. To cheer for the men in blue who played well, several Bollywood actors penned heartfelt note. Among them Shah Rukh Khan, who was also present to witness the Ind vs Aus Cricket World Cup match.

The Jawan actor penned a heartwarming note and extended love and support to team India. He wrote, “The way the Indian team has played this whole tournament is a matter of honour and they showed great spirit and tenacity. It’s a sport and there are always a bad day or two. Unfortunately it happened today….but thank u Team India for making us so proud of our sporting legacy in cricket…u bring too much cheer to the whole of India. Love and respect. You make us one proud Nation.”

Bollywood celebs laud Team India’s efforts
After the match concluded, celebrities like Abhishek Bachchan, Ayushmann Khurrana, Ajay Devgn, Kajol, Vivek Oberoi, and others expressed pride and unwavering support for team India despite losing.
Apart from Shah Rukh, several Bollywood celebs were seen attending the Ind Vs Aus World Cup finals. Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, Ayushmann Khurrana, and Anil Kapoor, among others reached Ahmedabad to witness the ODI World Cup match.
On the work front, SRK will next be seen in Rajkumar Hirani’s Dunki. The movie is slated to release on 22nd December.
