Independence Day 2021: Amitabh Bachchan, Akshay Kumar, Alia Bhatt and others extend their warm wishes

Amitabh Bachchan, Akshay Kumar, Sidharth Malhotra, Alia Bhatt, Kiara Advani, Kangana Ranaut and other Bollywood actors shared very warm wishes with their fans on the 75th Independence Day on August 15 today. Every citizen in the nation is standing tall with pride today as they hoist the nation’s tricolour flag. Along with that, many paid a tribute to the martyrs who have sacrificed their lives to keep this country safe and secure. With the nation, Bollywood stars also made sure to salute these martyrs and salute the freedom fighters as well.

Amitabh Bachchan took to his Instagram account and paying a tribute to martyrs he wrote, “स्वतंत्रता दिवस की अनेक अनेक शुभकामनाएँ । सुख शांति समृद्धि , सदा । सब स्वस्थ रहें , सुरक्षित रहें ??(sic)”

Akshay Kumar took to his Instagram account and shared a video as a tribute to the martyrs. He wrote, “Tum Aaogey : A Tribute To Bharat Ke Veer Today as we celebrate Independence Day and salute those who sacrificed their lives for the freedom of our great nation, let us extend our gratitude. Support their families. Be their family.(sic)”

Sidharth Malhotra, who was seen in the movie Shershaah lately which based on the life of Captain Vikram Batra who sacrificed his life for the nation in the Kargil war, also took to his Instagram account and wrote, “Ek fauji ke rutbe se bada koi aur rutba nahi hota, Vardi ki shaan se badi koi aur shaan nahi hoti…Aur apne desh se bada koi dharam nahi hota.I salute the Indian Army, Navy & Air Force today on Independence Day??(sic)”
