Jackky Bhagnani Opens Up About His Decision To Step Back From Acting

Jackky Bhagnani, who has been part of films like Youngistaan, often regarded as ahead of its time, has had a varied journey in acting. When asked what didn’t work in his acting career and why he is no longer seen actively in films, Jackky replied, “Nahi, actually kya hai? I will tell you, Mitron was my last film as an actor, okay, jisme mujhe bahut critical acclaim mila, with God’s grace. Wahan mujhe laga ki I, as a human being, should stop looking for validation. Because as an insaan, aapko lagta hai—accha laga kya? Accha laga kya? Because hum usi ke liye kaam karte hain, right?”

He continued, “But uska ek limit hota hai. Mitron did that to me, and mujhe aisa laga ki there is a legacy which I can take forward. So main do-chaar saal us pe focus karta hoon, you know, build the machinery. And then I can always act again because it’s a fair playground for everyone today. Aapki film achhi hai toh public aati hai dekhne ke liye, aur agar film achhi nahi hai ya unhe lagta hai ki mazaa nahi aa raha, toh koi bhi actor ho, log nahi aate.”
