Janhvi Kapoor watches Arjun Kapoor’s Sardar Ka Grandson with family; says, ‘The only family almost as mad as ours’

Arjun Kapoor’s latest film Sardar Ka Grandson released today. Helmed by Kaashvie Nair, Sardar Ka Grandson is a romantic comedy also starring Neena Gupta and Rakul Preet Singh in a pivotal role. While everyone loved the Sardar Ka Grandson trailer and the film has garnered some mixed response from the critics so far, looks like Arjun’s family is absolutely in love with it.

Arjun’s step-sister Janhvi Kapoor shared a sneak peek of her family enjoying Sardar Ka Grandson. The Gunjan Saxena actress watched the film along with her younger sister Khushi and father Boney Kapoor.

Giving a shout out to her brother’s film Sardar Ka Grandson, Janhvi shared a picture with father Boney and sister Khushi on her Instagram stories. She captioned the picture as, “Now streaming❤️❤️. The only family almost as mad as ours?#SardarKaGrandson.” Janhvi also tagged Arjun, Neena and Rakul in her Insta stories.

In Sardar Ka Grandson, Neena Gupta is playing Arjun grandmother and he goes to extreme ends to fulfil her last wish. The film is a love story spanning three-generation, starting in 1947 and continuing till 2020.

Even Arjun feels Sardar Ka Grandson resonates a lot with his family. Thanking Kaashvie for giving him this role, Arjun had posted, “You gave me a solid material that connected to me so deeply and instantly because of the story’s uncanny similarity with my grandparents’ lives in various ways. Moreover, the character of Sardar in the film is very similar to my Nani. She was actually a riot when you interacted with her and I could see her in Sardar, every step of the way! I was literally living through various phases, emotions & memories some mine some theirs.”
