Janhvi Kapoor CONFIRMS Relationship With Shikhar Pahariya; Reveals Marriage Plans

Janhvi Kapoor has FIANLLY spoken up about her bond with Shikhar Pahariya. During her appearance on the latest episode of Koffee With Karan 9, the ‘Peddi’ actress confirmed that she is dating Shikhar. Alongside openly talking about their relationship, the actress also shared details about when they are likely to tie the knot.

Janhvi Kapoor To Marry Shikhar Pahariya In 2-3 Years

Soon after she and Varun Dhawan sat on the Koffee With Karan couch, Karan Johar quizzed Janhvi Kapoor about her love life and whether she’s officially dating Shikhar Pahariya. Not wanting to hid the relationship anymore, she quickly responded, “Yeah, I am.”

While this statement wasn’t something the host expected to hear, Janhvi continued, “I’ve always thought about why everyone’s so cagey about this. Obviously, I don’t want Nazar and I don’t want to be overly explicit about what’s happening in my personal life. But I also don’t think people give that much of a fuck for us to be like, ‘Let’s never let anyone know.’”

Stating that she doesn’t see a reason to be overly secretive about her relationship, Janhvi said, “I just think it’s overrated to be like, ‘Let no one ever know ever.’ It’s just kind of boring to be tiptoeing around, and it’s not a big deal.”

A couple of minutes later, KJo quizzed Janhvi Kapoor about her marriage plans. Choosing to not dance around the bush, the actress gave straightforward answer that marriage wasn’t in the immediate future. She said, “Not for another 2-3 years for sure.”

Janhvi-Shikhar Relationship

Janhvi Kapoor and Shikhar Pahariya have been friends for several years. As per reports, the duo first met when the actress was around 15 or 16 years old. Since then, the duo have had an on-and-off relationship. After reportedly parting ways around the time Kapoor made her acting debut in 2018, the duo rekindled their romance in 2022. The duo have been spotted together on several occasions, including high profile parties and get togethers as well as family functions. The two often visit temples together as well.

For those who don’t know, Shikhar Pahariya is an entrepreneur and polo player. He is also the grandson of former Maharashtra Chief Minister Sushilkumar Shinde. His brother is actor Veer Pahariya.
