On Tuesday, actor John Abraham took to his Instagram and announced his new film, Tehran which is inspired by true events. He shared the first look poster of the film which looks pretty intriguing. While announcing the new film, John has also announced that the film is all set to release on February 26, 2023. Having said that, the film will see competition with Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone starrer Fighter. Reportedly, the film will also be hitting the big screens on Republic Day. With this, Tehran and Fighter will clash at the box office.

That’s not it, it is also said that Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor’s next untitled film by Luv Ranjan is said to have a Republic Day release. Well, having said that, it is been observed that three films – Tehran, Fighter and Luv Ranjan’s next will clash together on 26 January 2023 at the box office. Since there’s still a year for the films to release, it is also to be seen if the makers decide to change the release dates in order to avert the clash.

Meanwhile, talking about his professional front, John has also recently announced another venture titled, Attack which stars Rakul Preet Singh and Jacqueline Fernandez. The film’s teaser was released a while ago and it is loaded with high-octane action scenes. Attack will be releasing in cinemas worldwide on Jan 28. He also has Ek Villain Returns and Pathan where he will be sharing the screen space with Deepika Padukone and Shah Rukh Khan.
