Karan Johar revealed that it was Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone's idea to share the wedding video. He never asked for it but feels touched and grateful for it.

Bollywood power couple Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh took everyone by surprise when they released their wedding video for the first time in the public domain. They chose to showcase their prestigious moment on Koffee With Karan 8 when they became the first guests of the season. Deepika and Ranveer melted our hearts with their heartwarming wedding video. And now, the host of KWK 8 Karan Johar revealed that it was their idea to share it. He never asked for it but feels touched and grateful for it.

During a media interaction, Karan said, “It was their idea to share it with us. I was very touched and very grateful to both Ranveer and Deepika for not only sharing it with me but the entire world, a very private part of their lives. Those four minutes are possibly the most precious 4 minutes of Koffee With Karan and its entire team. It takes a large and very generous heart to share the way they did because they did it after many years of their marriage. And it could have easily not been shared, I have never asked for it and I got it. I feel this is the first time on Koffee With Karan where I got much more than I bargained for.“
