Nirmal Kapoor Death: Karan Johar, Rani Mukerji, Javed Akhtar, Farah Khan And Others Visit Anil Kapoor’s Mother’s Residence To Offer Condolences

Anil, Boney, and Sanjay Kapoor’s mother, Nirmal Kapoor, passed away peacefully at 90. She breathed her last on Friday, May 2, at Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital. According to the Kapoor family’s official statement, she passed away due to health-related issues. Bollywood celebs, including Rani Mukerji, Karan Johar, Javed Akhtar and others, arrived yesterday evening to pay their last respects to Nirmal Kapoor.

Later that evening, Anil Kapoor was seen arriving at Nirmal’s residence in an ambulance with her mortal remains. He was accompanied by his brother Sanjay Kapoor, sister Reena Kapoor, and nephew Arjun Kapoor. The Kapoor family was also joined by Janhvi Kapoor, Khushi Kapoor, Shanaya Kapoor, Shikhar Pahariya, and Boney Kapoor. Several other celebrities, including Ananya Panday, Javed Akhtar, Rani Mukerji, Anupam Kher, Jackie Shroff, and Veer Pahariya, visited the family to offer their condolences.

Social media videos from the Kapoor residence showed Boney Kapoor and Anshula Kapoor gathered together.

One clip featured Boney speaking with Shikhar Pahariya, who is rumoured to be dating Boney’s daughter Janhvi.

Another video captured Shikhar comforting Janhvi, who appeared visibly distressed. Shanaya Kapoor and Harsh Varrdhan Kapoor were also seen arriving at the residence.

Additionally, notable personalities like Rani Mukerji, Karan Johar, Farah Khan, Jackie Shroff, Javed Akhtar, Padmini Kolhapure, and Rajkumar Santoshi arrived to pay their respects to Nimral Kapoor.

Nirmal Kapoor’s funeral is scheduled for Saturday, May 3, at 11:30 AM at Vile Parle Crematorium, Pawan Hans, S.V. Road, Mumbai, as confirmed by the Kapoor family. She passed away around 5:20 p.m. due to age-related issues.

Nirmal was the wife of the late film producer Surinder Kapoor and mother to four children—Boney, Anil, Sanjay, and Reena Kapoor Marwah. She was also the grandmother of several celebrities, including Arjun Kapoor, Sonam Kapoor, Rhea Kapoor, Harsh Varrdhan Kapoor, Janhvi Kapoor, Anshula Kapoor, Khushi Kapoor, and Mohit Marwah.
