King: 10 Russian Fighters Perform Gritty And Realistic Stunts For Shah Rukh Khan, Siddharth Anand’s Thriller- Report

There is more high-octane action on the horizon for Shah Rukh Khan as he prepares for the next phase of King. A report indicates that filmmaker Siddharth Anand has flown in 10 Russian fighters to perform a crucial action sequence. The sequence is set to be filmed at Golden Tobacco Studios in Vile Parle, Mumbai, next week. Sources reveal that makers have brought in these Russian fighters for one of the film’s most significant and intense action scenes.

According to insiders close to the production, an elaborate set resembling an old, abandoned mill has been constructed at the studio. Starting from March 23, the team will shoot fight sequences over a week, featuring Khan. A source told Mid-Day, “This is one of the most elaborate action sequences planned for the film. The stunts are gritty and realistic, and the stunt artists have been training for several weeks.”

But the excitement doesn’t stop with action. The director also plans to shoot a special dance sequence next month. Insiders are calling this a key highlight of the film. The source added, “It’s designed as a major moment in the movie—visually stunning and scaled to match the larger-than-life tone of King.” The film also features Deepika Padukone, Rani Mukerji, and Suhana Khan in prominent roles.

The makers have officially announced that King will hit theatres during the Christmas weekend. Directed by Siddharth Anand, the thriller will be released on December 24, 2026. King marks the first on-screen union of Shah Rukh and his daughter. The announcement coincided with Shah Rukh Khan and Siddharth Anand’s celebration of Pathaan’s third anniversary.

The film features Suhana Khan, Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan, Arshad Warsi and Abhay Verma. Also seen will be Rani Mukerji, Saurabh Shukla, Raghav Juyal and more. Alongside the release date, the makers unveiled striking visuals that offer a glimpse into the film’s world. Shah Rukh Khan is seen in a bold, fierce new look set against dramatic landscapes. This has heightened excitement and anticipation for the film’s upcoming release.
