Lovebirds KL Rahul and Athiya Shetty make their first public appearance for brother Ahan Shetty’s Tadap premiere

On Wednesday, Ahan Shetty who is all set to mark his debut in the Bollywood industry with his upcoming film, ‘Tadap’ got a star-studded premiere in Mumbai. At the screening, Ahan’s sister and actress Athiya Shetty arrived on the red carpet with her boyfriend, cricketer KL Rahul. This marks their first public appearance as a couple.

The lovebirds looked absolutely dapper as they posed together for pictures. The cricketer donned a beige suit with a black T-shirt, while his ladylove wore an all-black outfit and a pair of black heels.

The Shetty family also came together to cheer for Ahan at the screening. Suniel Shetty and Mana Shetty posed with Ahan and Athiya. Ahan’s ladylove Tania Shroff was also papped at the event. They also struck several poses together at the screening.

Meanwhile, KL Rahul ended all speculation about his relationship with Athiya last month as he shared a heartfelt birthday wish for his ladylove and made it Instagram official. Sharing the pictures, the Indian cricketer captioned it “Happy birthday my (red heart emoji) @athiyashetty”. Athiya too responded to his sweet post with a white heart and a globe emoticon.

The duo has been making headlines for their relationship for some time. Their social media PDAs, dinner dates, and outings speak volumes about their alleged love affair.

Reportedly, according to the Hindustan Times, KL Rahul had also listed Athiya Shetty as his partner before leaving for the World Test Championship Final in England and communicated the same to the BCCI. In October, they left India together for England for the World Test Championship last month and the actress also traveled in the same bubble and stayed in Southampton with the team.
