Karan Johar and his popular chat show ‘Koffee With Karan’ has always managed to grab headlines for all the wrong reasons. Recently, Indian cricketers Hardik Pandya and KL Rahul appeared on the show. However, they got embroiled in a controversy owing to their misogynist and sexist comments on the show.

The outrage caused by their ‘casual comments’ on the show was so severe that their episode was pulled down from an OTT platform. Hardik and Rahul were even suspended for two matches by the Indian cricket board (BCCI) for the Australia ODI series and one New Zealand ODI. The suspension was later revoked.

Now, fresh troubles have cropped up for Karan Johar and the cricketers as a case has been registered against them in Jodhpur for the comments they made on women in the show. The details of the case filed against this trio are not known yet. Post the outrage, Hardik had issued an apology and Karan too, after keeping quiet for a long time, opened up saying that he too is responsible for the controversy because it was his show.

“I invited them as guests and so the ramifications and repercussions of the show are my responsibility. I have had so many so many sleepless nights, wondering about how I can undo this damage, who is gonna listen to me. It’s now gone into a zone which is beyond my control,” said Karan in one of his interviews.

We wonder what Karan and the cricketers will do now with a case being filed against them.
