Koffee With Karan 8: Sharmila Tagore shares how she readjusted with Kareena Kapoor after Saif Ali Khan’s separation with Amrita Singh, here’s what she said

The episode was filled with love, warmth, and emotions bundled up with personal and professional revelations. During the candid chat, Sharmila Tagore shared how she adjusted after Saif Ali Khan got married to Kareena Kapoor Khan after his separation with Amrita Singh.

But first, Saif Ali Khan also spoke about how his mother was very supportive when he got separated with Amrita. Saif also shared that he had made a sudden revelation to his mother about his marriage with Amrita Singh. Post his separation, Saif Ali Khan got married for the second time with Kareena Kapoor Khan subsequently.

During the chat, Karan Johar asked how it was like to adjust with Kareena after Saif’s separation with Amrita Singh. To this, the veteran actress said, “I had known Kareena earlier. Meaning I had met her earlier and she has been very very nice. She is lovely and she is what she is. She was with us when Tiger was ill and when he passed away.”

Furthermore, she also revealed her reaction when she got to know about Saif and Kareena and that the two are living together. The actress said, “She said it so naturally, that when I even think about it I sort of laugh. So simple and sorted she is. She is so direct and very clear.”

Saif Ali Khan speaks about his separation with Amrita Singh

Saif Ali Khan revealed that he spoke to his mother first before the separation. He said, “About the separation, the first person I spoke to before the separation was my mother, who took a deep breath and there was another pause on the phone and said, ‘I am with you if that is what you want’ and that helped a lot.” Furthermore, he also added that the two are on pretty good terms now.
