Bombay HC Rules In Favor Of Kumar Sanu

Following the court’s restrictive order issued on January 21, Kumar Sanu shared his gratitude in an interview with Hindustan Times. The singer expressed appreciation for the court’s decision to protect his dignity, saying, “My reputation is the result of years of dedication, and my family should never have had to suffer because of defamatory statements that damaged our dignity.” The court also noted that Rita’s past interviews went beyond fair comment, describing them as a “personal tirade.”

Details Of The Case

Sanu filed the petition through advocate Sana Raees Khan, who is also a former Bigg Boss 17 contestant. The lawyer stated that Rita gave multiple interviews to entertainment outlets, making serious accusations against Sanu, including claims that he starved her during pregnancy, confined her to the kitchen, denied her medical care, and continued court proceedings while she was expecting.
