Lohri 2022: Amitabh Bachchan, Akshay Kumar, Shilpa Shetty extend sweet wishes

Every year, Lohri is celebrated with lots of zeal and enthusiasm. The festival of Lohri marks the celebration of the winter solstice. With Lohri, the ones celebrating call it an end to the winter season. This year, Lohri 2022 falls on Thursday, January 13. On the occasion of Lohri 2022, several Bollywood celebrities extended sweet wishes to their fans out there. Celebrities like Amitabh Bachchan, Akshay Kumar, Shilpa Shetty, Kangana Ranaut and many others made posts and wished their fans via social media.

Big B took to his Instagram to share a video. He posted a video of farmers celebrating Lohri and wished all his fans on the internet. Sharing the video, Amitabh Bachchan wrote, “Happy Lohri .. peace calm and safety.”

Akshay Kumar took to his Twitter and tweeted, “Moongphali dee khusboo atte gur di mithas,makki dee roti ਤੇ sarson da saag,dil dee khushi atte apnea da pyar Mubarak hove sarian nu lohri da tyohar. #HappyLohri (sic).” The Selfiee actor spoke about the smell of groundnuts, and other delicious Punjabi cuisine winter specials in his tweet and wished everyone on Twitter.

Shilpa Shetty shared a video of her from her workout session and wished her fans. She made a post and wrote, “Happy Lohri May the Lohri fire burn all your stresses & worries, and illuminate your life with happiness, peace & love.” The actress shared the video and wrote, “??????? ??????? ??? ?????… when you choose your favorite Bollywood song or Punjabi music track and get grooving Lohri di lakh lakh vadhaiyaan… Hun thoda lak nu hilaado Happyyyyyy Lohri (sic).”

Meanwhile, several other Bollywood celebrities also extended Lohri 2022 wishes to fans out there. Vicky Kaushal, Bhumi Pednekar, Parineeti Chopra, Kangana Ranaut, Raveena Tandon, Neetu Kapoor were amongst the celebrities who wished fans on Lohri.
