Luka Chuppi Made in China Pakistan release

Bollywood has finally gathered enough courage to call Pakistan’s bluff once and for all. Now, ‘Luka Chuppi’, ‘Arjun Patiala’ and ‘Made in China’ won’t be getting released in Pakistan. This comes in the wake of Pulwama tragedy, which saw the death of 44 CRPF personnel.

Producer Dinesh Vijan announced on Tuesday via a statement that he has cancelled a contract with the Pakistan distributor of the films, and that his banner Maddock Films will not be releasing ‘Luka Chuppi’, ‘Arjun Patiala’ and ‘Made in China’ in the territory.

‘Luka Chuppi’ stars Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon in lead roles. It is slated to release on March 1, 2019. ‘Made in China’ stars Rajkummar Rao and Mouni Roy in lead roles.

Filmmaker Dinesh Vijan took to his Twitter account and wrote a post condemning the Pulwama attack.

Yesterday (February 18), Ajay Devgn announced that his film ‘Total Dhamaal’ won’t release in Pakistan.

We also had the makers of Sushant Singh Rajput-Bhumi Pednekar starrer ‘Sonchiriya’ deciding to boycott Pakistan amid the terrible strikes in Pulwama. Bollywood superstar Salman Khan also replaced Pakistani singer Atif Aslam from his production ‘Notebook’.

‘Arjun Patiala’, a romantic comedy, which stars Diljit Dosanjh and is being directed by Rohit Jugraj, will release on May 3, 2019.
