Yaaneea Bharadwaj was applauded for her performance in Zoya Akhtar’s web show, Made In Heaven. The actress played the role of Sukhmani, an innocent Punjabi girl who dreams of living in America but has to settle for a husband who is impotent.

The actress has now raised some relevant and valid points on nepotism in her recent post on Instagram. Being an outsider herself, she talks about the inequalities outsiders like her face in terms of industry support systems. The behind the scene enablers are the resources that outsiders like her wouldn’t get access to and how unfair that is.

In the post, she questions marketing strategist, Prabhat Choudhary, the founder and owner of companies, Spice & Entropy Digital for working with the likes of Sara Ali Khan, Alaya F and Ananya Panday. She expresses how she can’t even aspire to work with someone like him, even though she admires his brilliance, until she has made her mark, since she’s not from a distinguished family.

All she wants is level playing field with ones mentioned above on the basis on talent and perhaps answers to her humble questions from the career architect in chief, Prabhat Choudhary himself, who she has mentioned comes from a small town too. Ironically, Prabhat had a mention in the entire series of Made In Heaven.
