Yesterday, veteran actor Shashi Kapoor passed away, and many Bollywood celebs took to Twitter to mourn his demise. One of them was Madhur Bhandarkar. The filmmaker tweeted, “#SashiKapoor sir will be always remembered for his charismatic style,acting performances and his immense contribution to theatre. My deepest condolences to his family and friends. #OmShanti.”

However, the leading news channel, Times Now misquoted the filmmaker and tweeted that Madhur Bandarkar remembering Shashi Tharoor. Check out the image of the tweet below:

Thanks to the typo-error done by the news channel, Madhur was being trolled. Later the portal apologised for the same, and Madhur too tweeted, “I had expressed my sincere condolences for #ShashiKapoor ji and had not mentioned @ShashiTharoor as I can precisely differentiate between the two individuals. The typo error was by @TimesNow for which they have already apologized so please stop tagging me.”

Talking about Shashi Kapoor, the veteran actor passed away last evening. His family members like Kareena Kapoor Khan, Saif Ali Khan, Karisma Kapoor and others were spotted at his residence last night. Even Bollywood celebs like Rani Mukerji, Vaibhavi Merchant and others visited the late actor’s residence.

This morning also celebs like RIshi Kapoor, Ranbir Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Sanjay Dutt, Deepti Naval and others were spotted at Shashi Kapoor’s house. The actor will be cremated today afternoon.
