Hours after India carried out an airstrike on Pakistan’s terror Camp in Balakot, Pakistani actress Mahira Khan said that there is nothing uglier and more ignorant than cheering for a war. She also hoped that better sense will prevail.

Days after the terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama which left more than 40 Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) soldiers killed, India claimed to have destroyed Jaish-e-Mohammed’s biggest training camp in Pakistan’s Balakot, which is located almost 80-km from the Line of Control (LoC) early Tuesday. If reports are anything to go by, the airstrike left 325 militants and terror recruits killed.

Apart from Mahira Khan, other actresses including ‘Sanam Teri Kasam’ actress Mawra Hocane also reacted to India’s airstrike. She wrote on Twitter that it is time to put humanity first and urged media organisations to stop being provocative.

Actor Fahad Mustafa also hoped for peace and said: “War does not determine who is right …Only who is left. Say no to war.”

While there are several actors who reacted strongly to India’s airstrike on Balakot terror camp.

Veena Malik took a dig at Karan Johar‘s ‘My Name Is Khan‘s popular dialogue and wrote, “My Name is tree…And I’m not a Terrorist.”
