Ibrahim Ali Khan made his acting debut earlier this month with the Netflix film Nadaaniyan featuring Khushi Kapoor as its leading lady. While the film opened to mix reviews, it still managed to trend at No 1 on the OTT for a couple of days. Now, during a recent chat, thee film’s choreographer Vijay Ganguly opened up about working with Ibrahim on the track Tirkit Dhoom. Scroll below his honest thoughts on Khan’s dancing skills.
Nadaaniyan Choreographer: Ibrahim Ali Khan Is Not A Fantastic Dancer
Talking about choreographing Ibrahim Ali Khan for Nadaaniyan’s dance number, Vijay said, “Ibrahim is not a fantastic dancer but a very hardworking one. Though he comes from a Nawabi family, he is grounded. Every time he didn’t get a step right, my assistants would go out of our way to make sure he did it well.” For the unversed, the title track featured Ibrahim setting the mood for a celebratory evening with his killer dance moves. The song also featured Khushi Kapoor showing off some moves.

Directed by debutant director Shauna Gautam, Nadaaniyan is teen rom-com starring Ibrahim Ali Khan as Arjun Mehta and Khushi Kapoor as Pia Jaisingh. The film tells the story of a privileged South Delhi school girl (Pia) hiring a middle-class, career-focused student new student hailing from Greater Noida to be her fake boyfriend to get back at her family and classmates. The film also stars Mahima Chaudhry, Dia Mirza, Suniel Shetty, Jugal Hansraj, Archana Puran Singh and Meezaan Jafri in pivotal roles.
