Nawazuddin Siddiqui, who plays a serial killer in ‘Raman Raghav 2.0’ is overwhelmed with the response to it. Anurag Kashyap’s ‘Raman Raghav 2.0’ has had the two sell-out screenings at the Cannes Film Festival over the last two days.

All the international media loved the film. And they are saying the most incredible things about my performance. Hollywood reporters have even compared my performance to Anthony Hopkins in ‘The Silence of Lambs’. It feels good says Nawazuddin Siddiqui as he gets ready for screening of the film.

He is happy the way International audience is liking the movie and getting the context of the story. He says he was a little unsure of how they’d see the milieu and the timeline (the 1960s) when the film unfolds. But audience here got the point. At the media interaction, they asked all the suitable questions.

Nawazuddin Siddiqui, who is currently in Cannes for his new film, says he doesn’t think he’ll get the time for seeing films or looking around this beautiful town. This is his third visit to Cannes. Every time, he is surprised by the enthusiasm for his films and performances although they are so rooted to the Indian context.

The Cannes Film Festival started on May 11 and will go on till May 22.
