Recentlyweds Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda attended the pre-wedding celebrations of Allu Sirish, brother of Allu Arjun, in Hyderabad today. The festivities kicked off with the traditional Pelli Koduku ceremony. Rashmika and Vijay participated enthusiastically alongside the entire Allu family.

The event took place at the Allu family’s residence. The Pelli Koduku ceremony is a significant ritual on the groom’s side in Telugu weddings. The day began with the sacred mangala snanam, where Allu Sirish was ritually bathed and anointed with turmeric and sandalwood paste, symbolising purification, blessings, and his transition into married life.

Rashmika and Vijay engaged in the celebrations, greeting family members warmly. Notable attendees included Ram Charan and Upasana Konidela. Allu Sirish is scheduled to marry Nayanika Reddy on March 6. Prior to the wedding, the family will host a grand reception on March 4 at Taj Krishna for extended guests.

Rashmika Mandanna-Vijay Deverakonda Distribute Sweets at Tirupati

Before joining Allu Sirish’s pre-wedding festivities, Rashmika and Vijay shared a gesture of love and blessings by distributing sweets after seeking blessings at the Tirupati Tirumala temple. In addition to Tirupati, sweets were reportedly distributed in various cities, including Mahbubnagar, Karimnagar, Delhi, Chandigarh, Noida, Ghaziabad, Ahmedabad, Bhopal, Mumbai, Jaipur, Vizag, Vijayawada, Puttaparthi, Kochi, Mysore, Coorg, Bangalore, Coimbatore, Chennai, and Pondicherry at different temples.

For the occasion, Rashmika chose a stunning golden saree paired with a green silk blouse. Her look was complemented by sleek gold jewellery, dewy makeup, and a gajra-adorned hairstyle. Meanwhile, Vijay opted for a white kurta with beige pants, finished with a red shawl draped around him, completing his traditional look.
