However, I can’t pay the debt of so many kids of the nation who stood with me.”

The actor acknowledged that several members of the film fraternity extended their support during this period, including Salman Khan and Sonu Sood, along with countless fans who contributed through social media and personal outreach. About The Rs 9 Cr Cheque Bounce Case

The dispute began with a Rs 5 crore loan from businessman Madhav Gopal Aggarwal in 2010, which grew to over Rs 9 crore due to accumulated interest and legal penalties. In April 2018, a Delhi magistrate’s court convicted Yadav and his wife, sentencing them to six months in prison. After failing to make scheduled payments despite earlier promises, the Delhi High Court ordered him to surrender on February 2, 2026. He was granted interim bail on February 16, 2026, after depositing Rs 1.5 crore with the court. The actor is now back on the sets of Welcome to the Jungle.
