Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif’s new movie Tiger 3 is receiving praise from all corners. The audience is not only appreciating the action sequences and Salman – Katrina’s chemistry, but also the technical aspects of it. Be it the screenplay, direction and overall narrative, audience are loving every bit of Tiger 3 calling it a ‘paisa vasool entertainer’. For the uninitiated, Tiger 3 is a part of Aditya Chopra’s YRF spy universe and it is written by Shridhar Raghavan. Tiger 3 The YRF Spy Universe technically began in 2011 with Tiger Zinda Hai. But it was announced with a logo during the release of Pathaan this year. Tiger 3 witnessed cameos by Shah Rukh Khan and Hrithik Roshan and it was writer Shridhar Raghavan who conceptualised this crossover. Raghavan borrowed characters from War for Pathaan and then infused crossover cameos in the film to further connect the three. This is how Raghavan served as one of the creators of the universe, by developing the stories that brought Tiger, Pathaan, and Kabir’s worlds together.

Who is Shridhar Raghavan

Raghavan has been appointed by Aditya Chopra to mentor the writer to curate the best films of spy universe. He began as a screenwriter with Amitabh Bachchan’s Deewar in 2004 and wrote films like Apaharan, Bluffmaster, and Chandni Chowk to China. He also served as creative producer on the popular investigative show CID for 91 episodes spread over three years in the late-2000s.

Talking about Tiger 3, it released on Diwali, 12th November. It also stars Katrina Kaif, Emraan Hashmi, and Revathy in pivotal roles. The film is wreaking havoc at box office within 2 days of release.
