On-flight fashion: Best and worst dressed celebs this week!

Malaika Arora

Yeah, it’s alright if we couldn’t laze around the streets of NYC in a sexy trench coat just like Samantha from 'Sex And The City'. Occasionally, we manage to soothe our eyes when Malaika unapologetically flaunts her trench love at airports. This time, the lady made a head-to-toe brandilicious appearance in a chic trench dress from Rara Avis by Sonal Verma. We love how the contrast of the stylish belt accentuates her waist and the pop of colour that her slip-on espadrilles add. The diva completed the look with her trademark Balenciaga tote bag and sunglasses.

Kangana Ranaut

Is there anything the woman cannot pull off? A lot has been spoken about her bold, western avatars but it’s surprising how Kangana looks so refreshingly beautiful in desi avatars. She’s been out and out promoting her upcoming movie 'Simran' and was spotted at the airport in this crisp and exquisite pink saree with a subtle white print and a matching sleeveless blouse. She rounded her look out by carrying a white bag and tied her hair in a high bun. Pretty gorgeous, we say!

Ranveer Singh

There’s not much we can do about Ranveer’s hotness, honestly. No matter how hard we try to find a dampening factor, we fall flat on our faces. The actor looks super handsome in this bright coloured red cosy tracksuit. Comfy faded grey shoes, a stylish hat and nerdy glasses... and voila! The macho dish is ready.

Karisma Kapoor

There’s a section of the style brigade that may have lauded this look. But we’re not one of them. While heading out of Mumbai, Karisma was spotted in this jumpsuit (or are they separates?) from Integument, a label that was presented at the recently held Lakme Fashion Week. The black shirt and black palazzo pants (they looked too long) combo were clubbed with a grey-ish printed sleeveless top. She rounded her look out with geeky glasses, a Birkin bag and black shoes. She did look pretty, but we would rather visualize such an outfit on leggy lasses Sonam Kapoor or maybe Deepika. What say?

Arjun Rampal

When you are Arjun Rampal, good fashion sensibilities are just an added bonus. The rugged actor showed up at the airport in grey joggers, light blue printed tee and a navy blue hoodie. He opted for black sneakers to keep it comfy while travelling and completed the look with black sunnies.

Priyanka Chopra

On her way to Toronto, PC chose these athleisure coordinates of a slogan tee from Cover Story and track pants. The pants had checkered stripes on the sides and the rest of her outfit is minimalist with strappy block heels and a bracelet that give her a sporty-chic vibe.

Varun Dhawan and Taapsee Pannu

The ‘Judwaa 2’ actors were seen colour-coordinating at the Mumbai airport. Both Varun and Taapsee chose black and green outfits as they returned from Jaipur. While the actress slipped into this black top with green, white and black striped pants, Dhawan opted for a smart green hoodie with black denims. But there’s one thing that’s been haunting us. It’s the lady’s socks she’s worn underneath her sandals. Why would anyone do that unless you are shielding yourself from cold weather?

Shamita Shetty

This plain white midi dress Shamita wore at the airport is probably a better version of a night dress. We’re unable to figure out where exactly the layers or frills start and where they end. And what’s with those flowery slip-ons? Did she forget to change her bathroom slippers by any chance?

Genelia’s always been a pretty girl with an understated dressing sense. She was clicked in a chirpy and happy mood while exiting from the airport. Although there’s nothing majorly wrong with the black velvet tracksuit, we’re not sure why she’s opted for such ill-fitting pants. Also, the entire look comes across as quite shabby; maybe because of her haywire hair and slouchy body language.

The handsome hunk was snapped at the airport in this simple white t-shirt and chino pants with patchwork. Although the look was basic, we love how the colourful patchwork adds a punch of coolness to his minimalist outfit. He completed the look by wearing a black cap, sunglasses and shoes.

Kalki Koechlin

There’s nothing wrong with wearing a simple black tee. But babes, you’re a celebrity. Even we would think twice before wearing such a ‘blah’ tee. The actress paired the tee with blue skinny jeans and even more meh footwear.

Richa Chadha

Whatever style statement she’s trying to make here, we’re not listening. The high-low black dress is Okayish. The black bomber jacket with green embroidery is also strictly OK. Somehow, Richa’s ensemble doesn’t manage to grab eyeballs.
