On Women’s Day, Bunty Aur Babli 2 actress Sharvari pens an appreciation post for Rani Mukerji

Rani Mukerji has always wooed the audiences with her stellar performances. Be it Black, Hichki, Mardaani or Bunty Aur Babli, she has carved a space in fans’ hearts with her impressive acting chops. Even Rani’s Bunty Aur Babli 2 co-star Sharvari is mighty impressed with her. On the occasion of International Women’s Day, Sharvani penned down an appreciation post for Rani Mukerji. In the post, she thanked Rani for “inspiring” her to be an actor.

Sharvari posted a picture with Rani on her Instagram Story and wrote, “I have idolised a lot of women characters who I have seen on the big screen and invariably most of those women have been played by none other than Rani ma’am! So, on women’s day this is my appreciation post for her. Thank you for inspiring me to be an actor. It was such a dream come true for me! Happy women’s day to all the babli’s out there!”

Sharvari is making her Bollywood debut with Bunty Aur Babli 2. It also stars Siddhant Chaturvedi opposite her.  The “rebooted sequel” also stars Saif Ali Khan. In February this year, Aditya Chopra’s Yash Raj Films announced its release date. Bunty Aur Babli 2 is releasing on April 23, 2021.

Earlier, on getting the chance of acting, Sharvari told ANI that she has always wanted to be an actor and was a total filmy kid growing up. “I love the idea that cinema can transport us into a world of its own and make us happy, get us inspired and also make us ponder,” she said.

It was her dream to work in a YRF film and she is really excited to be a part of Bunty Aur Babli 2. She added, “It’s a huge opportunity for me to do my best and make everyone who has believed in me proud”.
