Supreme Court had made it clear that no one can stop Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Padmaavat’ from releasing. Later, the Karni Sena challenged this decision once again in the court. But for all to know, the apex court has once again given out the decision in the favour of the film.

‘People must understand that the Supreme Court has passed an order and it must be complied with’, said a bench of Chief Justice Dipak Misra, Justice A.M. Khanwilkar and Justice D.Y. Chandrachud. Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh governments had made this effort to stall the release of the film stating that it will lead to law and order kind of situation if the film releases.

Dipak Misra further stated, “Our order is to be complied with by one and all. A few hundred people come on the street and create a law and order situation demanding ban. That can’t be accepted.”

This definitely makes sense. ‘You can advise them not to watch the movie if they don’t like it. We will not modify our order,’ further stated the bench.

Meanwhile, we have learnt that the Karni Sena has accepted SLB’s request to watch the film before asking for a ban.
