After a lot of unrest and protests, ‘Padmaavat’ is finally set to hit the theatres on January 25 this year. This has given the makers and the star cast of the film a reason to smile as they have gone through a lot in last few months. The film is finally releasing after undergoing the title change and a few cuts as suggested by CBFC.

But looks like the film’s release is not a good news for some and definitely not for the makers of  ‘Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety’. (Also Read:JUST IN! Padmaavat: Deepika, Shahid and Ranveer-starrer all set to get a solo release)

Just a few days ago, Akshay Kumar and Sanjay Leela Bhansali had held a press conference wherein the actor had said that he was ready to push his film ‘PadMan’ in order to give ‘Padmaavat’ a clear release date. ‘PadMan’ is now slated to release on February 9 and was earlier clashing with ‘Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety’. According to sources, the ‘Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety’ makers felt that it’s not a wise decision to clash with a big film like ‘PadMan’ and hence decided to shift the release date.

Well, looks like the storm of ‘Padmavati’ aka ‘Padmaavat’ has affected the date of many movies, with ‘Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety’ turning out to be the latest one.
