‘PadMan’ vs ‘Aiyaary’ again, helps makers of Sidharth-Manoj-starrer gain some sense of humour!

Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s magnum opus ‘Padmaavat’ (earlier titled as ‘Padmavati’) has finally received a thumbs up from the Supreme Court and is set to release on 25th of January. However, owing to the difficulties around its release, two other movies, i.e. Akshay Kumar-starrer ‘PadMan’ and Sidharth Malhotra-starrer ‘Aiyaary’ had to face a tough time as they too had their dates locked for the Republic Day weekend. Soon, we saw the makers of ‘Aiyaary’ push ahead their movie’s release date to February 9, to avoid the big clash with ‘Padmaavat’ and ‘PadMan’. And yesterday, in an unexpected turn of events, Akshay Kumar too postponed his movie’s release date to Februar 9, as he chose business over ego. SLB was extremely thankful to the actor and the duo hugged it out at the press meet last evening.

Now, the current scenario is that while ‘Padmaavat’ gets a solo release, ‘PadMan’ and ‘Aiyaary’ will be clashing on February 9. While, talks of ‘Aiyaary’ being preponed or postponed again started doing the rounds, the makers cleared the air with one sassy tweet. They are ready to take on ‘PadMan’ on February 9 and replied to a tweet shared by ‘PadMan’. Check it out here:
