Bollywood actress Parineeti Chopra has a packed schedule with Prashant Singh’s ‘Jabariya Jodi’ co-starring Sidharth Malhotra, Akshay Kumar’s ‘Kesari’, ‘Namaste England’ co-starring Arjun Kapoor and ‘Sandeep aur Pinky Faraar’ with Arjun Kapoor again. It is now being reported by Mumbai Mirror that the actress has also bagged the sequel of Anurag Basu’s 2007 musical drama, ‘Life in a… Metro’ opposite National Award winning actor Rajkummar Rao.
As per sources, Parineeti had always wanted to work with Anurag as she loves his vision of making something different. She liked the script and gave her nod to the project. Anurag, who has been following Parineeti’s career, is also looking forward to the collaboration. Basu is keen to take the project on the floor as soon as possible.
If the reports do come true, then this will be the first time Parineeti and Rajkummar Rao will come together for a project.
However, there have been no confirmations on the names yet. Basu even posted on Twitter about the issues one faces while trying to make a film with an ensemble cast.
Casting of an ensemble cast film can only be locked after securing combination dates of all the actors.Bohut mushkil kaam hai,sab ke calendars ek saal ke liye full hain.Aur mein ghode pe sawar hun. Will keep you posted. Final cast will be announced soon .
