Parineeti Chopra etches husband Raghav Chadha’s name on her wedding trousseau in a unique way

Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha had a dreamy wedding ceremony in Udaipur on September 24. The couple took the first steps in the new phase of their life amidst friends and family. It was a grand yet intimate affair. While the couple looked oh-so-gorgeous in their wedding pictures, it’s a little detail in Parineeti Chopra’s wedding outfit that caught everyone’s eye. Parineeti Chopra made her wedding trousseau timeless by etching husband Raghav’s name on it.

The actress opted for an ivory lehenga for her big day, designed by Manish Malhotra. Parineeti Chopra’s wedding look spelt royalty and elegance. But what made it a lot more special is the veil attached to the trousseau. Parineeti went for a long veil and it had Raghav’s name spelt in Hindi engraved on it in gold. This extra addition makes this whole look timeless and a lot more special for the couple.

Talking about the wedding lehenga, Manish revealed that it took 2500 hours to create it. He said, “Parineeti Chopra exudes regal grace in our exquisitely hand-crafted wedding ensemble, which took 2500 hours to create. The beautiful tonal ecru is adorned with intricate hand embroidery, using vintage gold thread in a mesmerising linera geometric pattern.”

After getting married on September 24, Parineeti and Raghav shared their first official pictures as husband and wife on Monday morning. The couple looked lost in love in the pictures and the wedding venue looked oh-so-regal. With the pictures, they wrote, “From the very first chat at the breakfast table, our hearts knew. Been waiting for this day for a long time .. So blessed to finally be Mr and Mrs! Couldn’t have lived without each other .. Our forever begins now.”

The wedding was a grand affair with the couple’s family and close friends in attendance. Manish, Sania Mirza, Madhu Chopra were some of the guests at the wedding. However, Priyanka Chopra gave it a miss.
