Post Rakesh Roshan’s cancer surgery, Hrithik resumes shooting for upcoming untitled action film

Recently, Bollywood superstar Hrithik Roshan revealed that his father and celebrated filmmaker Rakesh Roshan being diagnosed with throat cancer through an Instagram post. The fans were shocked after hearing this news. However, the fans of Hrithik and Rakesh Roshan kept patience and prayed and extended their wishes to the film maker. The prayers of the fans and family were heard by God and the filmmaker underwent surgery as well which went well. The filmmaker is back to the home and is recovering fast.

Amidst all the development, Hrithik Roshan celebrated his birthday in a very quiet manner with his father in attendance. Now, the filmmaker’s family is seemed to be back on a normal routine. As the filmmaker dad is now recovering, Hrithik has decided to resume shooting.

According to a report published in DNA, Hrithik was shooting for Siddharth Anand’s untitled action thriller which also stars Tiger Shroff in the lead role. He has apparently begun shooting for the second schedule for the movie.

It is to be noted that the ‘Dhoom 3’ actor has ‘Super 30‘ releasing on July 26, wherein he will be seen playing mathematician Anand Kumar. For the role, the actor has undergone some major body transformation. The release date for the film was recently postponed to avoid the clash with Kangana Ranaut‘s ‘Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi‘.

On the other hand, after a short break, Rakesh Roshan will soon direct the fourth installment of the hit franchise ‘Krrish’, in which his son Hrithik would be returning as the caped crusader. There were reports doing rounds on social media that the actor would play the superhero as well as the villain in the much-awaited movie. If reports are to be believed, Priyanka Chopra and Katrina Kaif are among the top contenders for the leading actresses. The film ‘Krrish 4’ is scheduled to hit the theatres on Christmas 2020.
