Hrithik Roshan starrer ‘Super 30‘ is once again in the news. The release of the film might get pushed forward due to filmmaker Vikas Bahl, who was directing the film based on the life a Patna based mathematician. Due to the ongoing #MeToo movement, the filmmaker who was accused of sexual harassment by an ex-employee of Phantom Films, was chucked out of the post production procedure of ‘Super 30’.

Recently, there were reports of Vikas Bahl once again joining the post-production team as the employee who had accused Vikas of sexual misconduct decided not to pursue any legal action against the filmmaker. But as per a report in Mid-day, the filmmaker has been barred from the post-production procedure and the editing of the movie has been put on hold.

A source from the film’s unit informed Mid-day, “Vikas is not doing ‘Super 30’ at all. Producers Sajid Nadiadwala and Reliance Entertainment are looking for someone else, who can supervise the post-production including the editing, VFX and CGI. They are also planning to rope in a few professionals who will take charge of the film hereon.”

The report further added that the film might get delayed, but the producer Sajid Nadiadwala is distributing his time between ‘Housefull 4’ and ‘Super 30’ — to ensure the films meet their deadlines. The report revealed that Bahl will not be a part of the promotions and has been asked not to make any comments related to the film.

‘Super 30’, starring Hrithik Roshan, is about Anand Kumar – a Patna-based mathematician who runs the famed ‘Super 30’ program.
