POSTER ALERT: ‘Manmarziyaan’ to clash with Shahid Kapoor’s ‘Batti Gul Meter Chalu’

Finally! The first poster of Abhishek Bachchan, Vicky Kaushal, and Taapsee Pannu’s ‘Manmarziyaan’ is here. The poster reveals the release date with the logo of the film which looks quite eye catchy due to its blend of colors.

Taapsee Pannu tweeted the poster with a caption which read, “An ‘insane’ ride is about to begin…… #Manmarziyaan @anuragkashyap72 @aanandlrai @juniorbachchan @taapsee @vickykaushal09 @kanikadhillon @ErosNow @cypplOfficial @FuhSePhantom”

Directed by Anurag Kashyap and produced by Aanand L Rai, the film marks Abhishek Bachchan’s comeback on the big screen after almost two years. In ‘Manmarziyaan‘, Abhishek Bachchan and Taapsee Pannu will be playing love interests.

The initial cast of the film included Bhumi Pednekar and Ayushmann Khurrana. Malayalam film-star Dulquer Salmaan was also set to make his Bollywood debut with the movie, however, he was later replaced with Abhishek Bachchan. Also, before Anurag Kashyap, Sameer Arya and then Ashwiny Iyer Tiwary were said to be directing ‘Manmarziyan’.

The film will now clash with Shahid Kapoor, Yami Gautam and Shraddha Kapoor’s ‘Batti Gul Meter Chalu’.
