Prabhas: I don’t want to break out of the ‘Baahubali’ image

One record-breaking movie and he became world famous, a Force to reckon with. Such was the power of ‘Baahubali‘ franchise that catapulted its lead actor Prabhas to unimaginable success. However, despite all the fame and adulation, the actor continues to remain humble and grounded. Recently, he spoke to a news agency about how the journey of ‘Baahubali’ will always be close to his heart and he doesn’t want to break out of the image.

Said Prabhas, “I don’t want to break out of the image. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that I got and I want to keep it all my life. It is an amazing thing that happened… Sometimes I wonder ‘Am I the main lead of ‘Baahubali…. People recognise me from all over the country which we didn’t expect. In the movie, he portrayed the role of Amarendra Baahubali and Mahendra Baahubali. The movie became the highest grosser with worldwide earnings of more than Rs 900 crore. It also starred Rana Daggubati, Tamannaah Bhatia, Anushka Shetty, Sathyaraj and Ramya Krishnan. The first part released in 2015 while the second part released earlier this year. Talking of his future projects, he will be seen in multi-lingual flick ‘Saaho’ which is being made in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam. He will be cast opposite Shraddha Kapoor.
