Priyanka Chopra recently attended the fireside chat at the World Economic Forum (WEF) annual meeting in Davos, Switzerland. The actress spoke about what can be done in the progress of the country and what kind of future she wants for her kids.

The ‘Barfi!’ actress also spoke about the need for philanthropy to solve the challenging problems in the world. Talking about why she wants to be an important part of the change, the actress said, I want my kids to grow up in a world where the world leaders have listened to Greta’s (Thunberg) generation, where the climate crisis is contained if not averted, where a woman’s ability to succeed is a basic human right and not based on geography and chance.

At the event, she also emphasized on how India has eradicated polio from the country with the contribution and help from 200 million volunteers. The ‘Quantico’ actress sported an all-black outfit for the event.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Priyanka was last seen in ‘The Sky Is Pink’ that also starred Farhan Akhtar, Zaira Wasim and Rohit Saraf. The movie did not do well at the box office however it was showered with praise from the critics. Next, she will be seen in ‘The White Tiger’ adaptation that also stars Rajkummar Rao.
