Priyanka Chopra recently announced her Bollywood film ‘Bharat’ opposite Salman Khan. The film is directed by Ali Abbas Zafar. Apart from this film, there have been many speculations regarding Priyanka Chopra featuring in Kalpana Chawla’s biopic.

According to a recent report in DNA, the biopic isn’t happening anytime soon as Kalpana’s husband, Jean-Pierre Harrison, has apparently declined to give away the rights.

In the same report, a source said, “After Kalpana’s demise, all rights associated with her estate are said to have been transferred to Harrison and no one else besides him can give the permission to make the film. Even though Priya may have got the go-ahead from Kalpana’s father, it seems that alone may not be enough to make the biopic. Priyanka’s team has tried to acquire the said rights from Harrison, but apparently, he hasn’t agreed to grant them yet.” (Also Read: Priyanka Chopra promotes ‘Quantico’ 3 with right summery outfits!)
