Raj Kundra Case: Crime Branch team arrives at Shilpa Shetty’s Juhu residence; watch

Earlier today, Shilpa Shetty’s husband Raj Kundra and his associate’s police custody was extended till July 27. Raj has been arrested by the Mumbai police for his alleged involvement in adult film racket. After Raj’s police custody was extended, a team of Crime Branch officials was seen arriving at Raj and Shilpa’s Juhu residence. Reportedly, the officials are likely to conduct fresh raids at the couple’s residence.

On Monday (July 19), Raj Kundra along with his associate Ryan Thorpe was arrested in a case related to production of pornographic films.

On Friday, a team of Crime Branch were seen arriving at Raj and Shilpa’s Juhu residence.

Raj and his business associate Ryan Thorpe were produced before the Magistrate court today. Both of them will now remain in police custody till July 27. According to ANI, Mumbai Police has told the court that they suspect that money earned from pornography was used for online betting. And that’s why transactions between Raj Kundra’s Yes bank account and United Bank of Africa account need to be investigated. “In the WhatsApp chats, we have found that Raj Kundra was talking about a deal about selling 121 videos for USD 1.2 million. This deal seems to be on the international level,” Mumbai police said.

In a fresh update in this case, Raj has filed a petition in Bombay High Court, challenging his arrest. The businessman has termed his arrest illegal.
