Raj Kundra Case: Mumbai Crime Branch summons Gehana Vasisth; actress assures full co-operation

Over the last few days, Raj Kundra has been grabbing headlines for all the wrong reasons. The businessman has been arrested for his alleged involvement in adult film racket. His police custody has been extended till July 27. Now, Mumbai Crime Branch has issued summons to actress-model Gehana Vasisth in Raj Kundra’s pornography case. Notably, a few months back, Gehana was arrested for her alleged involvement in a porn racket. She recently received bail.

According to ANI report, Mumbai Crime Branch had summoned three people including Gehana for interrogation in porn film racket case. However the actress couldn’t appear before the authorities as she is currently out of Mumbai. The Gandii Baat 3 fame actress told ANI, “Since I am currently out of Mumbai, I am unable to appear before the Property Cell of Mumbai Police’s Crime Branch today. I am ready to fully cooperate in the investigation (in the pornography film racket case).”

Speaking to ETimes, Gehana said that she will give names of the people involved in the porn industry. The actress also emphasized that she and Raj are accused and not convicted in this case. “When I meet the Crime Branch officials I will give them names of the girls and the people involved in the porn industry. Both men and women are involved in the industry and those names will be shared with the police. Those girls who are playing the victim card today are worried that once their names come out they are bound to turn into the accused in the case. And there are others, who are making allegations, but are involved in making porn content, which is available on the internet. I have all the names and am going to file an official complaint against all those involved in the porn industry. Why should one person be targeted and both Raj Kundra and I are still accused in the case and not convicted,” Gehana told the portal.

For the unversed, Gehana aka Vandana Tiwari played lead role in the show Behenein. She has also featured in movies like Luckhnowi Ishq and Daal Mein Kuch Kaala Hai, among others.
