Not Raj Kundra, but THIS social media influencer to star in the Farah Khan directed biopic – Report

Shilpa Shetty’s husband Raj Kundra is grabbing attention and is making headlines as Farah Khan and Munawar Faruqui are hinting at his biopic. The two have dropped several hints but have not confirmed anything about the same. If made, the biopic reportedly will revolve around his tenure in jail. There were updates floating on the internet that Raj Kundra might play an active part in the biopic. But, there has been a recent update regarding the same.

Is Raj Kundra starring in his biopic?

In 2021, Raj Kundra landed himself in a controversy for allegedly creating and distributing pornographic content. Further, it is being speculated that he will make his acting debut by playing an active part in the biopic. Reportedly, the project is under the pipeline. But, according to a Hindustan Times source, “The project is not based on the controversy or what led to it. The project will trace his time in Arthur Road Jail, and the interactions he had inside the prison, with focus on his takeaways.”

It also added that, “However, it is untrue that he will star in the film. He might make a special appearance in the film, but will not act as a lead. He knows he doesn’t have the acting skills to pull something off, and will not even try it. These are just mere speculations”. The report adds that Kundra will be a part of his biopic from the production, to shooting to the script. It also added that the director or the cast for the project is not finished yet. Furthermore, comedian Munawar Faruqui might star in the biopic but not as the main lead.

Farah Khan and Munawar Faruqui had dropped another video and were seen discussing the Raj Kundra biopic. The two introduced a masked man, whom they referred to as Raj.

Raj Kundra case

It was in 2021 when Raj Kundra was arrested for the alleged creation and distribution of pornographic content. In the next year, he was granted bail by the Supreme Court, and since then, he has not revealed his face to the public and has stayed under the mask.

Amidst the news and updates of Raj Kundra’s biopic making rounds on the internet, we wonder if his wife, Shilpa Shetty might also be a part of the same.
