Rajkummar Rao is one of the finest actors currently in Bollywood. Over his career span, he has donned out-of-the-box characters and wooed the audiences. He has proved his mettle in acting in movies like ‘Kai Po Che!’, ‘Shahid’, ‘Aligarh’, ‘Trapped’, ‘Newton’, and ‘Judgementall Hai Kya’ among others.

There have been reports of Rajkummar reprising Dharmendra’s role in the remake of ‘Chupke Chupke’. Confirming the news to Mumbai Mirror, Raj said, “It’s a big responsibility to step into his shoes. The scripting is underway now. We know that we can’t match Hrishida’s (Hrishikesh Mukherjee, director) standard, but we will try and put our best foot forward.”

‘Chupke Chupke’ was a cult classic of 1975 that starred Sharmila Tagore, Amitabh Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan along with Dharmendra. It was directed by Hrishikesh Mukherjee.

Rajkummar is no doubt a terrific actor and we hope he will do justice to his role in the remake.

Currently, Rajkummar is gearing up for his upcoming release ‘Made In China’ where he is playing a struggling Gujarati businessman, Raghu. The movie also has Mouni Roy, Paresh Rawal, Boman Irani, Gajraj Rao, Amyra Dastur and Manoj Joshi in pivotal roles. Produced by Dinesh Vijan of Maddock Films and directed by Mikhil Musale, ‘Made In China’ will hit the silver screens this Diwali.
